We had breakfast at the room and then hit the road for Sunshine.
There are 3 resorts around Banff

Here is a quick rap on each... so we've heard.
Norquay = is the closest 5 min from Banff. Smaller local mountain
Sunshine = Always has the best snow
Lake Louise = 60 minutes from Canmore
We decided to go to Sunshine.
One thing we learned when driving east to Canmore there isn't a toll but when you drive back into Banff you're charged $5 per person.
When you pull up to sunshine it looks like the base of Crystal but you get on a gondola and trek into (yes, into vs up) the mountain. I looked up the stats because that has to be the longest slowest gondola ever, it even takes a left turn at one point. But it has proper seats unlike whistler's so you can lace your boots or what not.

The first run we all stuck together on the Strawberry run then Doug, Ian and I went over to Lookout Mountain and rode some of their blues and blacks.

We spent the afternoon on Lookout Mtn between the Angel Express and the tee Pee Town chair. Here's Ian on the Tee Pee in front of us.

After a few runs I meet back up with Becci in the Saloon.
We wrapped up the day and met Barry, Robyn and Kryzac in Canmore at the Grizzly. Had a few more beers and hit the store for booze.
