For one we didn't dress up this year. Since we only got back in town a week and a half earlier we had no time to unpack, get settled and catch up with work on top of figuring out a costume.
Breakfast...
Doug hit the gym to go to a spin class at 9am... I was less ambitious but I promised to have breakfast ready for him when he got back.
With the second Chorizo link left over from making paella I went in search for a good recipe from some of my favorite blogs. SimpleRecipes, to their namesake they had a wonderful simple recipe. So I made Chorizo and Egg Breakfast Burritos on Sunday.
In the afternoon we made our rounds to drop of thank you gifts to friends for taking care of Mojo during the wedding. And also in hopes of seeing their kids in costume.
We bought Olive Oil in Santorini for each of our friends that watched Mojo. And one for us of course. Becci was so kind to take them all home for us. They drug them threw one more country and home on the plane. The denting is from the airplane compression.
We tied thank you notes to each and hit the road.
First we went to the Grissom's about 2:30pm. Little Ryder was a helicopter for halloween but not diggen the costume so we didn't get to see him take off. We did get a chance to meet Kelly's mom for the first time.
Next we trekked West to hit the Yoder's but made a very yummy pit stop at Lunchbox Laboratory.

The wait was long and I'm always baffled about how disgusting the actual eating area is but the burger was heavenly.... that's what we ordered Burger of the Gods.
and sweet potato fries.
Then we hit the Yoders house. Again the kiddo was rebelling against putting on her costume. Here is Teri showing Farrow how fun the chicken costume is to wear.
Teri was kind enough to send pictures from tricker treating when she had on the costumes.
