Breaking traffic blues...
Holiday traffic backup on eastbound I-90
SEATTLE - The Memorial Day holiday weekend got off to a nasty start for some travelers headed to Eastern Washington as accidents and congestion snarled traffic going over Snoqualmie Pass.
The Washington State Department of Transportation warned that Interstate 90 traffic heading east over the pass was backed up for as much as 17 miles Friday evening because of collisions and increased traffic volumes.

The department says travelers could be slowed by as much as 4 or 5 hours.
The delays eastbound were from milepost 44, 1 mile east of Tinkham Road, to milepost 62, near Price Creek.
Saturday
We spent the morning playing on the beach
Mojo was on fire with his fetching abilities (which are usually quite questionable)
We headed to the show late afternoon.
Rockstar parking! We went in and parked in Cave B they have an entrance right by the gardeners shack. I still had bandages on my face and we got in with the simpathy vote. No one from Cave B at the gate just event attendants on the other side that barely looked at our printed out tickets.
Can I say again that I love my schlepping fiance?

We stuck to the main stage and had a great front row spot on the hill. We were bummed to miss the following shows but either we got their late or they were playing at the same time as another show we missed... Bon Iver, Mos Def and Arthur & You
The weather was great. It was HOT and stayed warm through the night. This cloud saved us.

Retreat!!!!
Instead of sticking around for the shows on Sunday night and camping another night then hitting the holiday traffic we aborted, sold the tickets and came home on Sunday afternoon.
Monday...
We put the house back together. Turned the hospital room back into a bedroom. Doug cleaned and weeded the yard and we caught up on work.
Heading out to see Star Trek at the guild in 45 minutes =)
