First thing on Saturday morning we got up and hit Benjamen Sherman to pick out colors, Aurora Rental to pick up a paint sprayer, Lowes to buy paint and materials and back to Benjamen to buy the selected furniture color.
Doug Sanded the furniture while I tapped the room.
And took off the hardware from the furniture. It is way prettier in a bowl than on the furniture. I took several pictures of the arrangement and might blow it up to make it one of the photographs we hang on the wall in remembrance of our project. (beats ugly before pictures but still has the sentiment of the project)
Doug rented a professional spray painter and did a great job on the furniture.
Then we painted the room on Monday after work. The paint we picked up from Lowes was so good we just used one coat and a couple touch ups.
Finished painting got to bed in the guestroom on Monday night... tomorrow is the Shins concert at the Showbox.
