With the luxury of a late check out we hung out by the pool and packed until the afternoon. The only place we didn't check out was the golf course so we went for lunch then off to Playa Del Carmen!
The resorts are so huge that the roads to the street last for miles. They are riddled with signs to watch out for crossings. We were just laughing about how unrecognizable the animals are in the signs when... a dozen crazy animals crossed the road.
What is that?!?
We parked the car and sought out a cute little boutique hotel off the beaten path.
I love Playa Del Carmen everything packed into a few streets. So fun to walk around and people watch.
We had drinks and apps on the second floor of this little place. Another version of Mexican Japanese food.
After dinner we walked the beach and then had ice cream and watched the traffic go by.
