First thing Saturday morning Doug started turning this pile of wood into our own custom designed wine rack. While he worked on that I worked on the preparations for our Valentines dinner.
While Doug was building I also ran errands for him. Petro let us borrow a finishing nail gun, when I picked it up he put me in touch with the cutest wood shop ever for the rest of my shopping list.
WoodCraft, the place was huge and dedicated to carpentry.

We painted the corner brown to blend with the new rack and add depth to the area.
